How it works
An albatross needs a run-up.
We know how hard it is to build a product and get an idea off the ground. An albatross needs a long run-up, and it doesn’t look elegant. Once it’s in the air, it glides for thousands of kilometres, barely beating its wings.

You say what you want: “I want a website” or “I’ve got a business idea”. That’s all you need to start.
- 2Your AI in the terminal
Claude Code, Codex or Gemini CLI builds with you. You describe what you want in your own words; the AI writes the code and explains every step.
- 3SSH key
Your house key for the server: the private key stays on your computer, the lock goes onto the server.
2Fly · Set-up and going live
- 4Your own server
A real server just for you, like a sandpit: you can try everything out and break nothing.
- 5Logbook (Git)
Every change goes into the logbook. That way you see what changed when, and nothing gets lost.
- 6Conveyor belt (pipeline)
Before anything goes live, it runs along the conveyor belt and gets checked. A mistake gets stuck, not your site.
- 7Your address
Your site can be reached at name.aufwind.sh, like a house with an address. Your own domain comes with Pilot.
- 8Back to yesterday
Every night Albatros takes a photo of your server. If something went wrong, you bring back yesterday’s version.
