Who is your offer for?
The picture: A portrait instead of a crowd
What it's about
Nobody recognises themselves in a photo of a crowd. A portrait shows one person so precisely that others say: “Hey, that's me.” You paint a portrait of the people your offer is made for, based on real people rather than imagination.
What you'll learn
- Why “for everyone” means: for no one
- How to start from a situation rather than from age and income
- How to collect your customers' words and use them later in your texts
- Why it helps to write down who your offer is not for
How you go about it
- You take what you already know from your conversations.
- With three questions, your AI narrows “everyone” down to one group.
- Together you paint the portrait: the moment the problem shows up, what these people do today and what bothers them.
- You collect sentences word for word and write down who doesn't belong.
- A short cross-check shows whether the portrait matches real people.
