What are you offering, and what does it cost?
The picture: The price lives in a room between floor and ceiling
What it's about
The floor is your cost per sale; below it you lose money. The ceiling is what your offer is worth to your customers; above it nobody buys. Your price sits in between. And at the start you offer one single dish, not a whole menu.
What you'll learn
- How to make your offer clear in one sentence: what's included and what isn't
- How to work out what a sale costs you, your time included
- How to set a price based on value and test it honestly
- Why you have to check whether you need to charge VAT
How you go about it
- With your AI, you describe your smallest offer.
- Together you work out the floor: materials, fees, your time and a share of your fixed costs.
- You estimate the ceiling: what do your customers do today, and what does it cost them?
- You set a price and tell it to real people from your target group.
- You check whether you'll become liable for VAT, and record everything in
docs/angebot.md.
