Which door do your customers come through?
The picture: A shop with many doors, a counter on each one, a tag on every link
What it's about
Your business has many doors: web search, recommendations, social media, partners, flyers. You want to know which door the buyers come through, not just the window-shoppers. For that, every link gets a tag, like a suitcase at the airport.
What you'll learn
- Which ways there are to reach customers, and how to pick two or three of them
- How to give links a tag (UTM) so your statistics know where visitors came from
- Why you test one channel after the other
- Why enquiries and purchases count, not visits or followers
How you go about it
- With your AI, you list all the doors and choose the most promising ones.
- Your AI makes you a tagged link for each channel, and for flyers a QR code too.
- You plan the first test in writing: duration, budget and how you'll recognise success.
- You open one door and leave the others as they are.
- At the end you compare enquiries and costs together and decide: keep, change or drop.
