Emails people welcome
The picture: The good postwoman only rings when she has something for you
What it's about
A good postwoman only rings when she has something for you, and stops as soon as you say “thanks, no more”. That's how your emails should be: few, at the right time, and only to people who said yes. First comes the foundation, then the emails.
What you'll learn
- who in Switzerland may receive marketing by email, and why bought address lists are off limits
- the difference between a service email (invoice) and a marketing email (offer)
- how a sign-up with a confirmation email works
- which emails along the customer journey really help
How you go about it
- Write down with your AI which emails go out today and where the addresses come from.
- Check the foundation: who said yes, and can you prove it?
- Go through the moments in the customer journey and choose three or four emails.
- Have the emails written as drafts and read them yourself.
- Only switch them on after your yes, and after a few weeks look at what they bring.
