A ramp next to the stairs

What it's about

Stairs work well for many people, but for some they're a wall. A ramp next to them helps those people, and everyone else is happy to use it too. You check your page for ramps: enough contrast, descriptions for pictures, use without a mouse, clear forms.

How you go about it

1. Run an automatic first check.
2. Check by hand: seeing, using, reading aloud, forms, motion.
3. Write everything into a check report.
4. Repair, most important points first, and check again.
